These are from Sunday night while we were walking around the rose garden at beautiful Hermann Hall, and then from John Shea’s most favorite favorite favorite time of day.
Thank you so much for your kindness and encouragement yesterday. I am so thankful for you and for this wonderful community! I’m reading through all the verses again this morning that I’ve underlined and written in my journal, the ones I’d mentioned yesterday that I have been clinging to, and wanted to share them. If you have a late morning cup of coffee in hand like me, or just reading through, hope this little Tuesday morning devotion on finding refuge in a loving Savior encourages you as much as it does me. Thank you so much again…

He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:8-10
