Ahhhh, Rome. We had an Olmsted Scholar reunion this past weekend and 28 of us split the cost of a villa outside the city. It was so fun to see and reconnect with everyone again. This is a special program (Cam is one of only three Marine officers that are chosen each year!) and each scholar and their family are living in different countries all over the world, working on a Masters and integrating into their respective language and culture. We’re so grateful to be a part of this, most especially for the amazing amount of family time we’re getting with Cam and “having” to travel together for two years. I mean… Praise God! He is so good. The old villa we rented was on a big property, which was great for John Shea and the other seven kids to run around together. Between that, socializing with everyone and exploring Rome all day, our kids were begging to be put to bed each night and slept better than they do at home. We had the usual meltdowns and tantrums we’d have anywhere, but I’m so proud of how well they’ve done this whole road trip through Italy. I have more posts coming, but until then, I hope you enjoy some photos from Rome!
My sweet boy running through the Roman Forum with chocolate gelato all over his cute face. He and Gracie thoroughly enjoyed Mommy’s two gelato a day diet.
From the best panini shop (we were the only non-Italians in the line out the door so we knew it had to be good!) I’m sorry I forgot to write down the name! but it’s next door to the Old Bridge Gelateria, outside the entrance to the Vatican Museum.

Gorgeous pictures! Oh how I LOVE Rome! My husband and I honeymooned there so it holds a special place in my heart. We joked the whole time that we were on the gelato, wine, and pizza tour because it seems that was all we did. Hoping to go back for our 10 year anniversary (we celebrate 8 years in May).

I visited Rome with my mother last fall for the first time and I am sure I am going to continue to visit for the rest of my life! I'm already looking forward to being able to introduce my future children to this amazing place, just like you have! 😉 The picture of Gracie is absolutely precious, by the way!

Thanks, Melanie!! I hope you make it back again – I feel the same way!

I studied in Rome and can't wait to go back someday soon with my husband! We went to the Old Bridge Gelataria often because we walked by it every day from our apartment to go study at various locations. It was fun that you mentioned it because I can picture the exact spot in my mind and it takes me back to living there the summer of 2006! Thanks for sharing, it sounds like a wonderful time in one of my favorite cities!

I lived there the summer of 2005! And went to Old Bridge pretttty much every day, ha. So fun that you know the exact place! I wonder if our study abroad programs used the same apartment building? It was right behind the Vatican wall.

Profit Maker Method
The money management strategy is very personalized, since it is designed and executed to meet individual requirements of a trader. This strategy varies from one trader to another, because every trader has a different goal, different risk tolerance level, and different amount of capital.
