Okinawan oar that two sweet old fishermen gave me while I was scouring the local ports (:
it’s fun to have since we live in a fishing village + these oars are used in karate.. and karate originated on this island.
One of the million things I love about Cameron is that he is such a talented builder. All I have to do is show him a photo or example of what I have in mind and then stand back and watch him make it, with his own creative touch to it. The bedside table & ladder he made are my favorite parts about this little room.
