My new favorite photo.
I was going to save those bunny jammies and the bunny stuffty for his Easter basket but could not resist giving them to him early!
There really is so much to love about this age, but these are a few of the stand-outs:
Hearing him yell “Dadda!” at the top of his lungs when Cam gets home and hearing his little pitter-patter feet running down the hall. He calls me “Na – Na” so we’re alllllmost at Mama.
He gets humor! And is seriously funny! Cam whispered a joke in his ear the other night and it made him crack up laughing. He is “talking” but not making any sense yet, so he whispered similar sounds back into Cam’s ear and then mine, totally pleased with himself that he made Mommy and Daddy roar with laughter.
Every time Cam and I stop to hug each other or steal a smooch, he runs straight over to us and bear-hugs our legs and then pushes his way inbetween us until one of us scoops him up and we wrap our arms around him and kiss him. He’s in heaven every time, beaming from ear to ear, making his cooing noises. He’s got quite the surprise coming when his little sister arrives and he’s no longer the total center of attention;)
The sweetest part of the day is during his bedtime routine… he crawls in our bed after his bath when he smells sweet and is in jammies with his little comb-over, jumps all over the place, jumps on us, snuggles us, gives out endless hugs and kisses and nuzzles inbetween us while Cam reads a prayer or two from this darling book. He bends down to give me a big smooch goodnight from Cam’s arms and does his wave of opening and closing his fist backwards (we’re working on it!) and blows a kiss while trying his best to repeat back to me, “Goodnight! I love you so much! Sweet dreams! Laku noc! Na-Na!” before Cam puts him down for the night in his crib. It is hysterical. He is such a tender soul.
I know I say this every time, but each age keeps getting better. So, this one is my favorite.

I bought the jammies on sale at baby gap (in the store) and the stuffty is Melissa and Doug – I believe it was $15! I'll try to find a link for the jams if they're online!

I can't find them online!! ๐ Hopefully you can find them in the store – they were on clearance for an absurdly discounted price!
