The season of flower festivals has begun! I love love love love love flowers and how much Okinawa celebrates them. Last year at the sunflower festival, I was a few weeks pregnant. Our baby is changing and growing before our eyes. Literally... He's already in 6-12 month clothing. No wonder he's not sleeping at all during the night and instead is up feasting! He discovered his voice and squeals and "chats" with us and laughs outloud. His entire face lights up when he smiles. He's a social butterfly. Snowshoeing in Narnia
I love summer forever amen, but something I admire about the cold is God's awesome creativity on display. He makes things spectacularly beautiful, even in the very dead of winter when the leaves and colors have all but vanished. It snowed the entire time we were up in Hokkaido, except for a few minutes here and there.
