Thanks to my sweet, thoughtful husband, we spent the long weekend and my birthday in Charleston. It's just a four hour drive from our home here in North Carolina. The city was bigger and a little different than what we expected, but there are some really beautiful, historic parts of it that we loved. Latest Antique Finds: Our 1890’s Fireplace Mantel from Beaufort, NC
This beautiful mantel came out of a late 1800's house in the historic district of Beaufort, North Carolina. (Remember when we visited that adorable town with Cam's parents?) I owe a big thanks to my husband who swore to me that he would never again put a piece of furniture on top of our SUV. So I better not ask him.
