When it comes to the whirlwind of unpacking boxes with stuff literally everywhere, you just have to start somewhere. I started with our coffee table, or atleast half of it. Monterey Living: 5 Places We Love
1. Chateau Julien Wine Estate: This was one of the very first places we explored after arriving in Monterey. The grounds are beautiful, the wine excellent, the staff very friendly and you receive a free wine tasting when you buy a bottle of wine, which we of course did:) 2. Farmer's markets! Fig, Bacon & Goat Cheese Pizza
I am so happy to have our kitchen totally unpacked and to be cooking again. This pizza may be a little too rich for some with the creamy brie, gorgonzola or goat cheese and bacon (Cam says, whaaat? How could this be?) If that is the case, mozzarella is a wonderful substitution for the brie. Hello! {A Little Update}
A little update from the past two weeks… We were house hunting, living out of our hotel room and suitcases, trying not to go crazy living out of our hotel room and suitcases, and totally striking out in our house hunt.
