My birthday present came early this year, on May 20th to be exact. Our amazing, beautiful, chunkier each day baby Grace. She's 8 months old this week, already!! I love this age so much. She cracks herself up, kisses us by opening her whole mouth and licking or gummy biting our faces and thinks that everything her brother does is the best thing she's ever seen. Citrus Chicken & A Little Bit of Magic in Zagreb
Just before Christmas, Cam and I had a date in my favorite part of Zagreb: Gornji Grad, also known as Upper Town or Old Town. Gornji Grad at nighttime is special on it's own, but even more so during Advent. Winter Citrus Salad with Feta, Walnuts, Apple and Pear
(A lot of quiet and a lot of snow in our neighborhood here today on Epiphany) I make variations of this refreshing salad just about every day lately, sometimes even twice, for lunch (with a piece of warm ciabatta to drench up the remaining vinaigrette) and then later with dinner. A Few Warm Days on the Dalmatian Coast
As I write this with hot tea in hand, it's snowing outside! It's the first real snow in Zagreb. But just a couple days ago we were on the central Dalmatian Coast in the beautiful town of Šibenik.
