From Tuscany, we headed due north to Switzerland to hike in the beloved Alps. Every European we met beforehand said the exact same thing, but in about 10 different accents -- "WHY you go there?? Wine Tasting …….. in TUSCANY
This was definitely one of our favorite days. Minus the fact that I got sick at the end of it because a cappuccino and one croissant, plus the rest of Mand's was not what I consider a real breakfast! And we got in a car with an Italian. Mistake numero uno. He was an awesome tour guide, but a terrible driver, and drove every curve like he thought he was the next Mario Andretti. Moorea IV: Hiking the Rainforest
We went on an awesome hike with a native Moorean who loved his island and taught us so much about it...and when we got thirsty (it was 110% humitidty in the rainforest) he pulled out a dagger from his backpack, chopped a swinging branch, and let us drink from it.
