We have such a love for old maps. So far we've collected ones from Europe, Japan, and Okinawa to frame. Cam being the amazing builder he is, had the great idea to just make our own. So... we took a frame making class at the wood shop on base and it turned out to be really fun {Cam learned how to build the framing and I how to mat, cut glass + put it all together}. Cafe DoKa DoKa
This morning started early, when the island is it's most beautiful. I went with two of my girlfriends to Cafe Doka Doka just ten minutes up the road and we spent the morning there, talking and reading.. in awe. Spring on the Island
SPRING!!!! The newness of life is everywhere we look right now. From the constant rain turning into beautiful temperate weather perfect for laying out on our front yard.. to the bright flowers blooming throughout neighborhoods.. to the long GORGEOUS sunsets that have sincerely seemed unreal lately.. there is vibrant color and new life all over the island.
